KDE theme (System settings > Appearance > Global theme) should support an option for dark/light mode Actually a theme have a unique set, and you have to download "theme" and "theme_dark" and switch between them to alternate the theme as you wish I suggest that a unique theme can have 2 (or maybe more) versions in the same "theme file" At least for KDE to support natively automatic light/dark switching, and ideally to have that + a sub option to select different variant of themes (for theme having blue/green/red.... variant) It will be optional, a theme maker can precise a dark/light version of his theme, can precise color variant of his theme, can precise nothing and give only one variant KDE with that information can have a daytime auto switch option for theme that support it, and can have a variant selection sub option for theme that support it There's a least preferable option too, where we can let the themes as is and select in KDE option which theme we want for the night and which for the day, but it's a little bit dirty, not coherent |
