Soooo I treat the library window as we to access stock Audio, Footage, and Graphics really quickly.

If kdenlive stripped it away and adopted something like FastStone to ship with Kdenlive I think it would be a much better solution. The reasoning behind this is you can just click and drag to the timelines then the browser window would be the same. So this means less in kdenlive for playback and performance to be concentrated on more so.
