Right-click menu in the timeline should say "Reveal/Show in Project Bin" (anything that is just cleaner sounding) 17. Selecting a bunch of video clips in a specific order and then being able to automate them to the timeline with cross dissolves or none is a super awesome workflow we use to use for MTV. You can literally do a days worth of work in about 3 hours. 18. Since there is no nesting feature in Kdenlive it would be good to just right-click "Send to new timeline." So what might happen in the background is that another instance of Kdenlive opens up with just the timeline and copies the clips across to the new instance. so timeline A and Timeline B and place holder clip reads the B Timeline into the A. 19. Stagger selected clips across tracks: Placing 5 different clips to 5 different tracks it would be a simple command to stairstep the tracks. This most useful when you are recording audio or you have multiple takes of the same shot and you want to compare them quickly in the timeline choosing which shot/ audio works best. 20. Being able to have a marker track to help you jump to different parts in the timeline would be amazing. This would be ideally accompanied but an index window showing off all the marker durations in the timeline. would be ideal if it worked with single markers and multiple In and out point markers. Being able to attach notes would be incredible along with free range to choose colours and store them into swatches for markers. 21. The ability to pin tracks so when you are scrolling up or down while editing you can quickly sync your work up as needed for the shot. It would make life much easier than scrolling up and down all the time. It can be a kinda physically taxing on the ol index finger. 22. Double-clicking on a track where the naming panel is, opens up all the attributes of the track that you have enabled. This is just easier than dragging a track down. (Dragging a track down. should stay as an option) |
