Several programs I have in two instances in use

- file manager dolphin for user and for root
- terminal for user and for root
- editor kate for ...
- file manager for ...

For the terminal it's the way I like it: both the control line symbol and the window title show who the owner is.
This way it should for the remaining examples, too; either automatically by KDE or installed by the user.

Your idea brings me another. Maybe show user icon (if app is not running by session owner) in task manager, above items?

Lachu,

thanks for your reply. You are a 'forum veteran', I am a beginner. Are there ways to get more attention for one's wish either with the general readership here or with the people deciding whether to do something about it? It would be fine not just to see day after day that just one person has replied.

I am veteran cause number of posts (probably). My ideas are not so good. To made more attention, write idea on bugs.kde.org. In this case, you should have some technical skills.
