Hello
The Clipboard has this nice feature to create a QR Code from the Content. This feature will be perfect if you can past the QR Code as image into an application or save as file.

Sorry for asking, but could you explain why? Give an use case. I am not using feature of generating QR code and maybe cause that I could imagine how your request could improve KDE users live.

I used this feature a lot in the last couple weeks. I wrote some internal user dokumentation and insert url as qr code, because for the smartphone user it's easyer to scan a code as to typing or copy & past the url. And for the worst case if our system crash and we have no access to the password server anymore, i created qr codes of the login credentials. So we can use a scanner and must not type the long passwords by hand. I didn't want to use a online tool create for it. It was a littel bit annoying to use spectacle to take screenshots of the qr code to past it into the document. So i asked myself why i can't past it directly into the document and i opened this thread. |
