Many years ago, I've read plasma may drop virtual desktops, because users could use activities.
Also, there is no need to keep the same amount of VD for each activity. Imagine, users could copy/clone activity for temporary or persistent usage. If I would like to have a new VD, I could copy current activity, select only windows I would like to kept on it and (maybe) change it's settings. Maybe there could be UI to select, which changes from parent to propagate into newly created activity. What do you think?
