Currently, to move/copy file, user often may to open destination place in new tab or window.
But.. It could be better, if dolphin opens places panel when user move files. This panel could contains removable and internal media, recent places and trash icons. Thanks to that, if I like to remove file, I only click it and move onto trash icon.

Or activate the "copy-to" and "move-to" context menu in Dolphin's Settings?
I think might be cumbersome for those who are just be rearranging files, or dropping a file into their web browser, some other program, or to the desktop. A popup would get in the way. Plus what if we already have the Places panel enabled in Dolphin, as most probably do? Why not use that already? However, it is still a cool idea

I have disabled places panel and enable places popup (button near location entry). The problem is, under wayland, button do not display assigned menu, when dragging file(s) above it. This should be solve some problem of my previous idea. Could someone check, under X11/Xorg, if menu popup, when user d&d files above this button?
Edit: This idea is especially designed to case, when user do not like use right mouse button. User simple do not remember about this button or do not use it. Edit2: Places button (located near location entry), could be highlighted, when user starts file dragging from the same window. Maybe also tooltip should appear, like: move file above this button to show more options.
