I'm in the process of transitioning to Kdenlive as a more lightweight editor compared to Davinci Resolve. I come from using the "type out" advanced text feature. While it's customizable, it's a pain to use as you have to keyframe it.

I was glad to see that KDEN has a typewriter text animation feature, but most pixel-art game texts move faster than 1 character per frame. The Frame step property cannot go below 1, preventing you from achieving typed out characters faster than 1 frame/character.

Would it be possible if a future update to the typewriter property could allow the use of positive float points for faster character typing?

In addition to this, I tried seeing if changing clip speed would have an effect, but it appears the generator ignores that property of a clip.
