In addition to associating 'Run Commands', with each machine, can you enhance it to show a 'Unified Run Commands' view, which pulls in and aggregates the run
commands from all currently paired and online machines, into one view?

The advantage of this is that fewer taps are needed to get to the list of 'Run Commands', in both the app as well as the app's widget.

I've actually implemented this in a custom fork, if anyone's interested.

I find it allows me to quickly unlock one of my machines in fewer taps, than before.

And when I extended it to support the widget, I find I can generally just use the widget, by itself, 99.9% of the time.

It seems to work pretty well, but I would like to see this feature, what I call "Unified Run Commands", in the main branch, so that these changes endure.

Feel free to try it out!

If you want to build this custom version, from the source code,

Code: Select all
git clone https://github.com/ginobean/kdeconnect-android.git
cd kdeconnect-android
git checkout custom-1.17
(etc..)
