Hi. I'm a fan of KDE. I plan to donate and I hope many others will donate.
I would like some more advanced built-in window tiling options. I like tiling, but I'm not ready for a tiling window manager like xmonad. I'm still considerably mouse-dependent. I made some custom shortcuts for window resizing commands, but they are pretty primitive. |

OK, sounds great.
KDE certainly is a place to find tons of options and features. Whether that always is a good thing is another question. But nothing speaks against implementing more options from a technical point of view. I'd say it only is important that such features do not have a negative impact on the majority of users not using tiling. So go, first try to define exactly what options or features you actually miss and then, second, go and grab the code and have a try. By yourself or in a small team of people sharing that idea. Asking in IRC certainly is a good starting point to get into contact with people having experience in development. Or attending a conference, maybe Akademy. |

I just might do that.
How much will you donate to my tiling project? |
