The Do Not Disturb mode right not works great, but in my opinion there is still room to make it more useful as right now it only gets automatically activated while screen sharing.

I think a good orientation could be to look at the implementation in other operating systems:

Android lets one set times for each day where the mode gets automatically activated and is also able to activate it when there is a current calendar event.
Windows also lets one specify times the mode gets activated, but seems not to be able to automatically enable it when there is a calendar event going on.
Apple even seems to support enabling by location or certain app.

To summarize, I think all of these options would be a great addition to the kde do not disturb mode:
  1. Triggered by calendar events: Enable the mode when there is a current calendar event, select one or more calendars and corresponding availability
  2. Triggered by a fixed time schedule: Specify times for each weekday on which the mode gets enabled
  3. Triggered by opening a specified program
  4. Triggered by location
I ordered the options by which of them would personally give me the greatest benefit.
