Hello,
The KDE session management uses X Session Management protocol for restoring session (even on wayland), my idea would be to either create an equivalent set of features/protocol native to Wayland or to tweak ksmserver and/to restore a session from an other KDE session connected to it, such as an user would be able to continue what he left off (resembling a Single System Image).

This is but purpose of activities? Why not connect both solutions (sessions and activities). As far as I known, activities supports session management, so we need also another session manager?
