Hello,
I think it would be nice having the option of creating different profiles for notifications. For instance, I usually have two activities, one for working and one for hobby. While I work, I would like to stop notifications from chats (e.g. telegram, whatsapp, etc.). Instead, while I am just doing some hobby, I would like to stop email notifications (e.g. thunderbird, kalendar, etc.).

At now, I use two plasma activities and it works fine with some software because I can turn off the activity and the software shuts down, so notifications stop. However, other applications don't work well with activities: telegram, signal, kalendarac, whatsapp-for-linux stay up even when their activity is stopped.

I think that having notifications profiles (associated or not with activities) would really make the life happier for many :)

I will like to have place-dependent settings.

When we suspend computer and resume in another place, some software components could adjust to new place. For example: lock screen.

New option will be introduced: show notifications on lock screen.

For example:
When we are in home, we Plasma will show notifications on lock screen. When we suspend, this option is turned off. When we resume, option will be optionally turned on depending on current location. Location could be guess by Wifi networks available (SSID).

I think that this could be achieved by simply switching activity based on network connection...
