i typically have 2 monitors attached to my laptop. if i lose power, kde cleverly tosses all my windows onto my little laptop screen. Handy until the power returns. But when it does, kde tosses all my windows seemingly at random, some maybe to the right monitor but the wrong location on that monitor, or the window size is different now. All understandable, but would be nice if it could remember and put them back where they were. You know when power gets flaky, it goes off, it comes on, i put all the windows back where i want them, then the power goes off again and comes on again...

This absolutely does make sense, even under "normal" circumstances with a stable power supply:
I am annoyed by this current behavior each time I move my laptop from workplace to workplace. |
