Smartphones have GPS support, but I do not known modern laptop with it. In my opinion, it is good idea to allow read/set location on laptop based on location of smartphone. Ideal is to integrate it with KDEConnect.

This idea allow to navigate on bigger screen. I often traveling with driver and I am pilot, carrying my smartphone and telling driver, where to turn. After implementing it, I can see bigger map.

I known, for someone better solution is share Android/iOS app windows on laptop, but easier to implement is KDEConnect integration.

Sounds great, I like that suggestion.

I disagree that sharing a window is a better solution, just sharing the location itself as you suggest has two benefits:
1. a slim solution that shares exactly what you are interested in (less bandwidth usage)
2. you are flexible in what you want to do with that location information on the desktop side
