Plasma5 had problems with window placement, I think.

Good solution could be place new opened window on last activated activity, where application have window, or on activity, where application opens window in nearest past.
What do you think?
Of course, special windows, which needs attention, will spawn on current activity and current desktop.

EDIT: KActivityD could expose a new API, to not do retrieve current activity, but last active activity, where app has opened window. Maybe implement this in library, such like:
1. Got activity switch DBus signal
2. Check if there is our app window
3. If 2 was true, remember this activity as current app aware activity
4. If 2 was false, we still remember/associate previous remembered activity.
