Currently, dialogs could be very problematic. It stays on top, very often it has not minimize buttons. Solution is to add kwin effect, which made dialog windows semi-transparent, when it was inactive.
Thanks to that, I can click on parent window of dialog and read text of parent window. For example: in some text editor, I need to replace some string, so click CTRL+F. Dialog will appear. But this dialog will overlap area of parent and it is big window. I cannot reminder text I need to change, so must close dialog and redone operations. When dialog was semi-transparent once parent (or other) window is active, I simply click outside of dialog (on parent window, for example), read text, click on dialog and provide it.
