Put app/menu actions in window preview. Window preview (the outline around window preview, when user hover task entry by mouse), could contains:
1. Most used actions/menu items on the right of window preview 2. Open window/app menu button at the top of window preview (near close button). I think, it could be great to call windows/app action without activating windows. For example: Stop playing music, next track, prev track, save/load document, etc. Some of them are already displayed (for example: for music/video player; such like pause/play, next/prev, etc. , but displaying most used menu items on right and access to whole menu could be great). For example: 1. Civilopedia for Freeciv game (why I need to activate game window to access to it from window menu?) 2. Activate/show equalizer window for music player 3. Reload (reload/do nothing once documents changes on disc/show differences) actions for each document (kate) 4. Make some window semi-transparent (if app support this); for example Picture-In-Picture window of Firefox 5. Tab submenu (if app support it) - for example to view preview of another tab than active in Firefox 6. Current actions submenu (with options to cancel action; if app support this) - for example Firefox download, dolphin file copying; I known it is currently supported by notifications and this is not in 100% good idea (I am unsure), because notifications already support this 7. Files submenu (Dolphin) - if we extend this mechanism to allow drag menu items or Dolphin will support drag/move/copy submenus of each file menu item - it could be great - you simply open directory in Dolphin, hide it and next do file operations without bringing Dolphin back; it could be faster - imagine hide one Dolphin window to panel, open another window and move files from hidden window to displayed one.
