It would be great if I could run a KDE Games Launcher which I can see a short description of all available games, where I can mark my favorites as well.

This is something that I was wondering about:

Perhaps this would even be as easy as just add an option to the launcher plasmoid, so that instead of providing submenus for e.g. "graphics", "multimedia" or "games" it opens konqueror* with a folder showing related applications just like in that screenshot.
Of course, this is a more generalized approach, but it does the same thing after all
