More and more uses are using wikies. The diary from contact should be a wiki client where I could chooose the systax, the url, the login and password where I can sincronize what I write in, at least, already created wiki pages on the website chosen.
This way, I can write on my desktop my everyday work and sincronice it when I get connected. If there is any concflict, it should tell me. It would also can let me download a wiki page, change it, and upload the change. This is a really cool feature to avoid writing on wikies being connected, but also to interact with other local apps, since I can make links to local archives, etc, that, maybe do not make sense on the web but they do on my computer. This would be a better option than what is becoming more and more popular, installing a local wiki with many features (tasks, tags) that my desktop already do have. |

To avoid misunderstanding, could you please confirm that you really mean 'wiki' (and not 'blog' for example). I don't understand why one would want to sync with a wiki in the way you described.

I' talking about a wiki client, not a blog client, although a blog client would work also.

Using a diary as a wiki client would be... weird. Wikis tend to need, "encyclopaedia-like entries", which isn't the kind of thing your every-day diary user writes in their diary. I'm all up for blogging support, though, and maybe even some integration into twitter.

Wonder if Wilki Client toscalix is meaning something like TiddyWiki.
Type and go with tagging and syncing personal copies not published to the world.. I personally use text editor and continuous stream of text (1.7MB) and google notebook for remembering stuff to put in. I only edit in one place but have it on lots of laptops and desktops (backup copies etc) The ultimate would be something like google calendar where I have different streams one for personal diary and one for technical and I can merge or unmerge them as I want.
