You search for something at Google, discover a great site, you visit 20 pages from that site and then you want to go back to the search results. You can click Back 20 times or try to locate Google in the list next to the back button. Or you can just hit "Rewind" . this can be implemented in Konqueror...

Please describe this more. What would "Rewind" do?

It same like rewind in opera.
Specifically, what happens when you rewind is that you go back to one of these points in your history, whichever is latest: The last page you visited on a server, if you have left the server The first page you visited on a server[hr] Hope this would be more helpful...
