I love Dolphin's function that displays a green '+' for selection on the top left corner of every file you hover. This function also exists in detailed view, on the left of each line.

I would like to see this implemented in every selectable list in KDE, for example :
  • list of downloads in KGet / Ktorrent
  • Contact list in Kopete
  • Process list in Ksysguard
  • ... you get the idea

I have a friend who lost an arm when he was a kid, and when I showed him dolphin, he immediately saw how it would ease his life, as he is not able to press ctrl and click at the same time. Putting this everywhere in KDE would improve accessibility for some people.

I think a lot more of dolphin's functionality should be exported to libraries so it could be user over KDE. Right now it's mostly just used in dolphin...
