Hi people,
i saw a nice screenshot of a modded Windows Desktop today. it has a very nice panel... Maybe this could be an idea for plasma panels, too. I am thinking about a merge of panels if we have a maximized vertical and horizontal one that would cover each other! Look at the screenshot on lifehacker.com especially in the lower left corner... Lifehacker Windows Desktop Thank you very much for your attention! Edit:// i added a little button to mockup to get the merge a little bit more configurable, because not everyone will like a round edge on its desktop! Like black cat suggested, would be ql to have the ability to change "all" panels... Look some below

I agree this is cool, it looks nice. And above all it is actually useful, as it gives you a better way to organize your self.
I like it! +1

I like the idea, but I would take it a step further. merging any panels that touch would be useful. That way you could have two panels of different heights and when they touch their borders fuse (they can be unfused simply be sizing them differently again).
