There's a wish for this on bugs.kde.org, someone commented that it may be only possible when KDE 4 will be out. Maybe now or soon it could be possible with Akonadi. anda_skoa KDE Developer Posts 783 Karma 4 OS	[KMail] : Support for IMAP IDLE Sun Aug 16, 2009 12:59 pm It is already implemented in the development version of the Akonadi IMAP resource, which means it will be available to Akonadi enabled applications in KDE 4.4 However, it is most likely that KMail won't be such an Akonadi enabled application in time for 4.4, its maintainer is currently aiming for 4.5 Mailody might have a stable release though anda_skoa, proud to be a member of KDE forums since 2008-Oct.
