I rewrite the good idea of FoxBlitzz and the suggestion is simple : I would set less default icon spacing in Dolphin. It feels like there's a lot of wasted space when there's nearly an icon-width gap between icons, even on the "Small" setting. I could ask icon spacing to be more configurable but I am not for more complexity in configuration option. If default configuration is ok... Stefadji |

Please provide a link to original idea of FoxBlitzz. Thanks. If you wish you could make a mock-up. Or at least explain your idea in detail.

All right, the original idea is in a list a rejected thread here Does it need a mock-up ? Actually, in Dolphin (KDE 4.2), configuring horizontal spacing of the file/folder icons to zero already goes in the way of my suggestion. If the vertical spacing could also be decreased, it would be perfect. |

No you don't need to make a mock up. It's OK. And I agree with you.
