what if we could create a group for krunner which holds a bunch of applications which should be started if you type the group name in krunner?
say you have a group "communication". you add a few applications to this group, say "your irc client", "your email client" etc.. now if you type "communication" in your krunner field and hit return, you get all this applications started.

Maybe this would be a nice extension to the concept of activities, which in my view is up to now somewhat unsatisfying: Dynamically create and delete activities like "communication and surfing", "work on your thesis", "media playing". Especially dynamically saving the state of these activities when closing that activity would be nice. You could save for example the state your editor with your thesis, diagram drawing program, konqueror for doing literature research independent from your media viewing and music listening activity.
