plasma panel with area Selection

Thu Mar 26, 2009 12:57 pm
Hi, I hate windows, But I need to show you the new window 7 panel. It looks like kde plasma bar.. But in windows 7, when you hover on the icon ( opera) it show a nice rectangle area around it.
So it can be nice if plasma panel have this! Because it gives beter homogenous structur to all.

I agree. If this is optional, and can be turned off/on, then I am 100% for it.

The GIMP does this too when you edit an image, it has a rectangular "hover" thing. I found that it helps a lot when positioning. I am not saying that this "should be like windows" here, I am saying that a hover-effect should be implemented, and if possible it should even be fancy (like an ellipse or rectangle or something)

This rectangle is shown when the program is opened, not when the icon is hovered.

STasks is nice. First really good idea that came originally from Windows I've ever seen.
