Currently, the Kopete chat window displays the account name. It would be handy, especially for those of us with ugly account names, to have the option to set a local alias. This would add to consistancy as the chat windows already display the aliases of contacts.

Maybe I am missing something, but on my computer, Kopete displays the account nickname (e.g. Joe Biden), not the account name (e.g. joe1234@biden.com). This seems sufficient to me. Why should I override it with a third name?
