ability to save keyboard shortcuts for windows(/applications) even after closing and reopening

-extending the idea, keyboard shortcuts for applications, if application already open, behave as a keyboard shortcut for window (bring to foreground rahter than open new / do nothing)

as it is at time of writting:
for those not familiar with using keyboard shortcuts for individual windows, right click on the titlebar, and then somewhere in window settings advanced, there's an option to assign keyboard shortcuts to bring this window back to the foreground. (sorry if thats inaccurate, not currently in KDE to check). unfortunately, the productivity/workflow useability value of this is greatly diminished by the absence of an option to retain these shortcuts after the application closes.

Another suggestion is to include a keyword shortcut to "close" application as the "x" button.

In KMail or Amarok (apps with system-tray enabled) if you want to close the windows (but not the whole application) you don't have any sortcut. Just Ctrl+Q but it close the entire application.

PD: It's necessary to open an independent thread for my suggestion?

Thanks!
