Currently the border closest to the panel is not drawn on extender popups. I suppose this is done to give the impression that the popup is protruding from the panel. However in some cases it makes the extender look broken instead. In particular if you set the panel width or autohides the panel. As you can see in the attached pictures the extender gets an odd cut-off look compared to regular popups. I would like the possibility to configure the extender to always draw all borders or at least draw all borders if the extender doesn't match the panel width.

This issue has been previously discussed over at the KDE forum in this thread. You can also find a patched version of plasma that addresses this problem on kde-apps.org (posted by Znurre). |
