[KMail] integrate tags with filters

Tue Apr 07, 2009 11:37 am
Hello,
It would be useful if we could use filters also to add tags to emails. This way we could create some filters that automatically tag messages when received.

That's because for example I receive a message once in a while from my boss, I have to read it but don't need at all a folder for just a dozen of messages, with the risk that I don't look at that folder when reading emails...
Instead, I'd like to create a filter, for example using the address of my boss, to add the tag "Danger", so messages from my boss will be displayed in big bold red characters, and I won't risk to be fired! ;-)

regards
gerlos

This is a very good suggestion! I could use it very much.

one of the points I have in my [Kontact] Visual redesign -version 2 (mockup) idea is tagging support ;)
