Hi,

it would be nice, if Images could be tagged or Voted directly on the Desktop (within the picture frame applet). Perhaps an Image Direction Button would be good, too.

I think tagging and voting make sense in applications with which we view or edit lots of images. This seems pointless in a picture frame applet which shows only one picture anyway.

Well i use it for showing all my pictures in 15 Minutes Intervalls. I often see a good picture, and want to rate or tag it (as i sometimes see it the first time).
In my case i normally don't use that much applications for viewing pictures only when people are around, i use f.e. the gwenview or digikam slideshow feature.

I think this is a good idea, as long as it only appears when you hover your mouse over the picture (like in the comic widget, where the navigation buttons only appear when you put your mouse over the widget).

I just came to make this suggestion. I use the frame to show off my pictures through out the day. It would be great to be able to rate and comment on the photos as they come up. Agreed about only on click, or hover for the controls to show up.

It's a good idea, I voted for it, but there should be an option to disable it as it can be distracting (unexpected) and if I just want to show a single picture I may wish to rate it once, but never more often.

Yes, this is nice when you can direct it to holiday photos what other people have sended and you can easily tag/rate them as well.
