The reason why I'm still using Amarok 1.4 is because it has two very important features for me:
1st: Crossfading between tracks 2nd: Fade out on exit It's really a pity the lack of such powerfull (and not very common) options in Amarok 2.0 It would be great to see that kind of options in future versions of Amarok 2...

technically it is a little difficult to do that as saying here :
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178184 but as this feature is missing (normally is not a feature as it was present in previous version) i use juk many times |

Apparently it's difficult to do it because of a technical reason with Phonon. It seems that they'll have debug it first... So we'll have to wait till they fix it. |

7 years later amarok still can't do a simple fade out ! I use debian/kde since 15 years and I see that some things like wifi work better but sound has always been a headake and still is a nightmare
I also loose whole sound after resume from suspend on a laptop / debian 8 + jack + pulseaudio |
