Something I have been missing all the years (many!) working in all kinds of environments: A spreadsheet that is "just there", with only one sheet and some basic functions, just a few rows / columns for a quick calculation.

Yes I know there are all kinds of calculators, and there is the Math Expression Evaluator, but what would be a great asset for me is an applet that, in form of a tiny spreadsheet,

- has (at least) 25 rows and 8 columns
- calculates + - * / ^
- no need to save / load
- but copy / paste into KSpread or OpenOffice Calc would be great

An idea I love would be a spreadsheet wallpaper (same limited functionality but covering the full screen).
