I like my desktop to be a place to easily access lots of information. But, lots of times I only want that information at particular times. One thing I love about the google gadgets is that you can choose to collpase a widget so that all you see is a bar normally. Then, when you click it, you see lots of more information. For example I have a plasmoid that displays information from amarok. But, I only want that plasmoid to be big when I'm actually playing something. How hard would this be to implement? It already works with google gadgets running under plasma.
