The thing I miss very much is the "Stack the beams on top of each other" feature which is available in early versions of KDE4. This feature is very fit for memory usage display, since roughly app memory + buffer + cache = totally used memory. But current(KDE4.2.2) is displaying them in the same baseline which leads to figure out how much memory used very painful.

Can be done in 4.3 at least. Just drag additional sensors on top of the existing graph.

Memory space 39% smaller in KDE 4. This just goes to show that it is worth making major changes in their working environment to get the fruit hanging from the highest branches.I have read it from http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/3138
