I'm a tablet PC user, and as far as I can tell, KMess is the only WLM/MSN Linux client with any handwriting support. I've already made suggestions to them about improving their Ink feature ( http://kmess.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3522 ) but Kopete has a lot of advantages over KMess in general.

So, I would love an optional drawing panel with:

1. A decent palette of colours.
2. Anti-aliasing.
3. Variable brush thickness.
4. Pressure sensitivity and eraser support for wacom pens.
5. A unicorn pony.

Maybe there could be a more universal version.
Something like a virtual keyboard but for handwriting which could support all apps.

Apparently this feature is on the way, part of a Google Summer of Code project :)

KMess has this feature, but don't work with WLM users. They are making a separate library (non KMess, only qt/KDE) todo this, so maybe this could be reusable.
