[KBreakout] Pong mode

Mon Apr 27, 2009 1:48 pm
To allow for a two-player game in kbreakout, I think it would be cool if there were two paddles, one at the top of the screen and one at the bottom. The top edge of the play area would be extended slightly so the blocks are centered between the two edges. Each player controls one of the paddles, and has to keep the ball from going of his or her own side of the screen. Powerups would go in the direction of the paddle that last touched the ball. There could also be the option to turn of block entirely for a more classic pong experience. It could also be played in one-player mode, where the two paddles are always kept lined up so only one control is needed.
