In the Gecko/WebKit Thread the users speak a lot about addons for Konqueror like in FF. But there should be an own idea to count the votes for this issue.
There should be these features: -API for Kross and C++ modules -Access to toolbars, statusbar, menus, adressbar, searchbar, tabs, windows, KIO and DOM -Addon-Toolbars -creating interfaces for Kross-based addons via HTML (DOM) and ui but also normal KDE/Qt API for scripting-languages -crash handling The JS-functions of FF-addons could easily be ported. But the developers would have to use HTML, ui or native calls instead of XUL. Maybe there could be also DOM for ui. The User |

For C++ that's already possible, always has been. Cheers, _

Looks nice and proper.
But of course a Kross binding would be very useful. |

Kross supports a wide variety of scripting languages including python, ruby, javascript/qtscript, and java. So if this idea is implemented and kross support is provided, python addons would automatically become possible.
