[Konqueror] Storing web pages

Sun May 03, 2009 9:52 am
I would like konqueror allowed user to permanently store web pages on the local disk. Stored pages could be automatically added as bookmarks featured by two links: to the original version on the web and to the locally stored version.

List of all stored pages could be recalled by a suitable command.

In the "Extras"-menu you can create an archive of the Website.
With "Save as" you can store it without the images, external scripts, external stylesheets...

But these bookmarking-option is missing.
You're right: A list of stored websites would be useful.

Using "Save as" you have the option to chose file name and location; that is a feature that should be kept.
I see a new feature, more tightly bound to konqueror, with already set common location and automatically assigned filename.

best.
