Hello! I'm not very good with the terminology so please correct me if my tagging is wrong or something is unclear
I think it would be great if the window that opens when rightclicking the mouse on the desktop, among the things that are already there like launching, locking/unlocking desktop etc, also included the programmenu. Xfce has this feature and it's great! Anders

It is an old unix feature, a lot of window managers out there have this feature (xfce, fluxbox, E17, window maker, ...), and I think it's something really useful that is missing at the moment... I'm glad to see that there is someone wanting it and working on it!

You can now set custom actions for any mouse button + any or none of Ctrl/Alt... keys.
So, the proposition in this idea is almost possible - you will not get a menu that contains the lock... actions and the applications, but you can set it up so that it behaves like some of the other DEs - left-click to show the apps menu, and right-click to show what it does now. |
