A plasmoid could show the feeds of akregator like the RSS-plasmoid. So you can see the feeds of akregator without open it.

Starred feeds, in case user has too many, unnecessary feeds.
Regexp filer option to filter out any unwanted feeds from akregator like *MySupplierDomain* filters out any feeds from ny supplier in case I don't want them on plasmid, but need in akregator.

Integrating it with Akonadi ( when Akregator integrates ) would make this a possibility.
