I would like the ability to duplicate a note plasmod as I don't like the default settings, and customize each note I add to the desktop with the same settings. So it would be nice if there was essentially a "replicate" button on the plasmoid handle bar which I could use to create a note with the same font-size and color scheme.

Perhaps this may better be done with a "change global defaults" checkbox on the configuration dialog?

That would satisfy my needs for this particular issue. I had thought that a "clone" type thing would be a more general solution.

A clone option could be plasma wide solution, especially when we like to have same plasmoid on different activities, like rss plasmoid

I second Lukas's idea. I have wanted to clone plasmoids on many occasions.
