Hi,
Danny Commit-Digest is something I and I assume many others enjoyed and read on a weekly basis. Over the past year it has become unreliable, because Danny has other commitments too and since KDE-development is so speedy, there is a lot to do, to keep up with the digest. So I was thinking. How to get back the commit-digest, for a more long-term? The one version would be finding a team. The other one would be to automate part of the task. KDE already has http://commitfilter.kde.org/, which I discovery right now, but it is not very comfortable to use. But this could be improved: Let commit-filter create individual rss-feeds, so that people can follow their favourite parts of KDE. Of course there should be offered some sane default patterns (without internationalisations messages for example), which then could be individualised while reading (remove/add commits from this app, author). Even the way of displaying could be individualised with different styles. Furthermore developers could tag postings which related to a commit with commit:# and then the blog-post would automatically be associated with one or more commits. Developers could also mark commits not to be displayed in the digest or to be very important New folders either could be automatically subscribed to the feed or just suggested for subscription in the feed. The commit-digest still would be generated only on a weekly basis in order to save resources and to allow it to still have a kind of introduction like Dany wrote. But in that case it may be less work because all the other stuff would be done by the users who configure what they want to see in the digest on an individual basis. You could choose the day of the week your new weekly commit-digest is generated. What do you think? Markum

I like it!
Commit digest can't be a one person effort! As we can sadly see... Developers's collaboration is needed... Adorable commit-digest, I miss you...:'(
