I would love to see a better QDockWidget than what is already given to us by default from Qt. Requests have always gone to Qt's Bug Tracker but it's always over looked or just constantly put off. But I would love to see a way to be able to auto hide it just like I was used to in Visual Studio. Where there would be tabs on the side of the dock widget and you can hide it and it and if hover over the the tab, the dock would pop out and when you left the dock area it'd go back.
