How would this work? Like KGet I suppose and how it is capable of monitoring the clipboard for links it can handle.

How does stream urls differs form any other? Wouldn't it start to play my printer link or CMS admin panel not on port 80?

To ping each one? not the best option :(

Updated. Yes, like KGet.

It's only for auto-paste, not also for auto-acept.

Urls usually have a :// section to them.... it would probably only look out for ones such as RSTP, etc.

Exactly. Plus the <_X_] lookin' button in every text field makes it unobtrusive if you didn't want to paste the clipboard text. Which is what you want to do 90% of the time unless you always type URLs in by hand. :-P

I would suspect the probability that, by some coincidence, you have a stream url in the clipboard but do not want to use it is pretty slim. So I think this is fairly safe considering the above mentioned x button is present.
