Not everyone uses gnome, so could you please describe what this applet does?

Hi blackcat,
I'm also not a gnome user, the gnome-home is in fact the desktop frontend with application shortcuts that gnome designed for notbooks and is the main changed added to ubuntu for the ubuntu netbook remix. It seems to be on the way, the too links posted on the previous post (thank you SeaJey ) are very similar to it, I think... |

Thanks, but I still don't understand what the applet does or why we would want it in KDE.
