I was talking more globally about a united Linux brainstorm board. Wherever if this should or not be a part of KDE Community Forums itself is another question. |

Anyway, If there would be a such suitable and well prepared brainstorming area, will KDE KDE Community Forums continue to maintain its own brainstorm area, or would consider joining a new board?

Actually it depends on the users. If we continue to have new ideas, we will be happy to maintain it, ofcourse. |

I'm putting ideas on http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/16376/
Should I repost them here? |

If you want to, you can. But the idea about an independent Linux brainstorm site is somewhat different to what this idea proposes and out of the scope of KDE Brainstorm.

This could be worked around: * Simple script to sync account data aroud kde.org or * If we put IdeaTorrent under same domain, we could add small php script to bootstrap. It would read session info and logs in into MyBB, then simulates login into IdeaTorrent (writes necessary data to session and adds user profile to pgsql, if needed) p.s. IdeaTorrent is durpal module? |

Yes, it is a drupal module.
But anyway, we will not be installing IdeaTorrent on this server, sorry. Presently, we have some load issues (which are being worked upon), and this will add up to it. Also, as I said, we will be working on an independent brainstorm interface soon after we do a scheduled forum upgrade, so I'll suggest that we give it some more time, and not rush through anything. |
