Using files by clicking or right-clicking and selecting "open with" is fine if there is only one file manager, all programs integrate well with it, and you don't use the command line. But for moving information between different programs, it would be nice if there were an easy way to get the full path of a file into the clipboard as text. Currently you have to right-click, click "properties" and copy and paste it from there. I think it would be much easier if there was an option to "copy full path" when you right-click on a file, right next to the existing "copy" option.
