For people wanting to use Kopete on a netbook (or laptop) while having already a connected instance of Kopete on another computer, it could be nice to start the new instance without getting disconnected from the services and being able to get the actives chat windows from the other instance so a switch could occur in the middle of a conversation/voice chat/file transfer.

It could work with a core (like Quassel) or the first instance could act as a proxy.

I think this could be achieved with plasma data engine's, since there is already a plan to make them networked.
